A display unit displays an object. A detection unit detects a touch operation on the display unit. A change unit widens a display space of the object while keeping a display size of the object when range selection of the object displayed on the display unit is performed through the touch operation.

An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a display unit that displays an object;
- a detection unit that detects a touch operation on the display unit;
- and
- a change unit that widens a display space of the object while keeping a display size of the object when range selection of the object displayed on the display unit is performed through a touch operation.
