Abstract
A method of setting by a docking center a direct connection between a dockee and a peripheral device in a wireless docking network is provided. The method includes grouping peripheral devices depending on each service in association with the peripheral devices and performing a setting of authorization for a corresponding group; and providing a docking service to the dockee which joins in the group while supporting a direct connection with at least one of the peripheral devices.

A method of setting, by a docking center, a direct connection between a dockee and a peripheral device in a wireless docking network, the method comprising:
- grouping peripheral devices depending on each service in association with the peripheral devices and performing a setting of authorization for a corresponding group;
- and
- providing a docking service to the dockee which joins in the group while supporting a direct connection with at least one of the peripheral devices.
A method of setting, by a dockee, a direct connection between a dockee and a peripheral device in a wireless docking network, the method comprising:
- joining a docking center, which operates as a group owner for a group of the peripheral devices providing the service, in the group, and a setting of authorization when discovering a service to be used;
- and
- transferring a request for supporting a setting of a direct connection with a peripheral device to the docking center.
A docking center device for setting a direct connection between a dockee and a peripheral device in a wireless docking network, the device comprising:
- a controller which is associated with peripheral devices and configured to group peripheral devices depending on each service, to perform a setting of authorization for a corresponding group, and to provide a docking service to the dockee which joins the group while supporting a direct connection with at least one of the peripheral devices.
A dockee device for setting a direct connection between a dockee and a peripheral device in a wireless docking network, the device comprising:
- a controller configured to perform a joining to a docking center, which operates as a group owner for a group of the peripheral devices providing the service, in the group, and a setting of authorization when discovering a service to be used;
- and
- a transmission and reception unit configured to transfer a request for supporting a setting of a direct connection with a peripheral device to the docking center according to instruction of the controller.
