Abstract
Apparatus, methods, media and code for routing a mail item part are provided. A receiver device may electronically receive: an indication that a first mail item part of a mail item is a check; an indication that a second mail item part of a mail item is a payment coupon; and an indication that a third mail item part of a mail item is a message. A processor device may: route the first mail item part and the second mail item part to a first destination; and route the third mail item part to a second destination that corresponds to terms in the message.
Claims21
Apparatus for routing a mail item part, the apparatus comprising:
- a receiver device that is configured to electronically receive:
- an indication that a first mail item part of a mail item is a check;
- an indication that a second mail item part of a mail item is a payment coupon;
- and
- an indication that a third mail item part of a mail item is a message;
- and
- a processor device that is configured to:
- route the first mail item part and the second mail item part to a first destination;
- and
- route the third mail item part to a second destination that corresponds to terms in the message.
An article of manufacture comprising a non-transitory computer usable medium having computer readable program code embodied therein, the code when executed by one or more processors causing a computer associated with an organization to route a mail item part, the computer readable program code in the article comprising:
- computer readable program code that when executed causes the computer to identify in the mail item:
- a first mail item part as a check;
- a second mail item part as a payment coupon;
- and
- a third mail item part as a message;
- computer readable program code that when executed causes the computer to route the first mail item part and the second mail item part to a first destination;
- and
- computer readable program code that when executed causes the computer to route the third mail item part to a second destination that corresponds to terms in the message.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions which, when executed by one or more processors on a computer system, perform a method for routing a mail item part, the method comprising:
- identifying, by the one or more processors, in the mail item part a first mail item part as a check;
- identifying, by the one or more processors, in the mail item part a second mail item part as a payment coupon;
- identifying, by the one or more processors, in the mail item part a third mail item part as a message;
- routing, by the one or more processors, the first mail item part and the second mail item part to a first destination;
- and
- routing, by the one or more processors, the third mail item part to a second destination that corresponds to terms in the message.
