Abstract
Provided are biocidal compositions comprising: a hydroxymethyl-substituted phosphorus compound and 2-(decylthio)ethanamine compound. The compositions are useful for controlling microorganisms in aqueous or water-containing systems.
Claims10
A composition comprising:
- a hydroxymethyl-substituted phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of a tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium salt, a C1-C3 alkyl- or C2-C3 alkenyl- tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium salt, and tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine;
- and 2-(decylthio)ethanamine.
