Abstract
Disclosed are a negative active material for a rechargeable lithium battery including a silicon-based material and graphite, wherein an average particle diameter (D50) of the graphite may range from about 5 μm to about 15 μm, and a Raman peak intensity ratio (Id/Ig) of the graphite may range from about 0.1 to about 0.9, and a negative electrode and a rechargeable lithium battery including the same.
Claims18
A negative active material for a rechargeable lithium battery, comprising
- a silicon-based material and graphite,
- wherein an average particle diameter (D50) of the graphite ranges from about 5 μm to about 15 μm, and
- a Raman peak intensity ratio (Id/Ig) of the graphite ranges from about 0.1 to about 0.9.
A negative electrode comprising:
- a current collector and a negative active material layer positioned on the current collector,
- wherein the negative active material layer comprises a negative active material comprising a silicon-based material and graphite, wherein an average particle diameter (D50) of the graphite ranges from about 5 μm to about 15 μm, and a Raman peak intensity ratio (Id/Ig) of the graphite ranges from about 0.1 to about 0.9.
