Abstract
A rail vehicle has at least one handle, in particular a securing or activation handle for passengers and/or train personnel. The handle has a disinfecting device or is connected to a disinfecting device which is suitable for disinfecting the handle before, after and/or during the activation of the handle.

- at least one handle for actuation by passengers or train staff;
- said handle having a disinfection device or being connected to a disinfection device, said disinfection device being configured for disinfecting said handle before, during, and/or after an actuation of said handle.
A handle for a rail vehicle, comprising:
- a disinfection device integrated with or connected to the handle, said disinfection device being configured for disinfecting the handle before, during, and/or after an actuation of the handle.
