Abstract
The present invention relates to compositions having an antifungal effect as we food products and beverages comprising such compositions. The invention also relates to a method for preserving food products and beverages comprising adding the compositions of the invention to the food product or beverage.

A composition comprising three compounds selected from the group consisiting of 2-methylhexanoic acid, geranic acid, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, propanoic acid and maniguette seed extract.
A composition comprising 2-methylhexanoic acid, geranic acid and sorbic acid.
