Abstract
An electron emission device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The electron emission device includes i) a hydrophilic resin substrate and ii) carbon nano tubes that are positioned on the resin substrate. Surface roughness Ra of the resin substrate is 7.3 μm to 9.75 μm.

An electron emission device, comprising:
- a hydrophile resin substrate;
- and
- carbon nano tubes that are positioned on the resin substrate,
- wherein average surface roughness Ra of the resin substrate is 7.3 μm to 9.7 μm.

A method of manufacturing an electron emission device, the method comprising:
- providing a resin substrate;
- refining carbon nano tubes;
- providing a suspension by distributing the carbon nano tubes in an aqueous solution;
- providing the carbon nano tubes on the resin substrate by dipping the resin substrate in the suspension;
- drying the resin substrate;
- and
- taping the resin substrate.
