Abstract
A method for detecting a correlation of a first ring oscillator with a second ring oscillator and a system for carrying out the method are provided. In the method, combinations of concatenations are compared to chronologically preceding concatenations.
Claims10
A method for detecting a correlation of a first ring oscillator with a second ring oscillator, comprising:
- concatenating values at an output of the first ring oscillator to values at an output of the second ring oscillator so that, as a result of each concatenation, a combination of the value of the first ring oscillator and of the value of the second ring oscillator is created;
- and
- detecting the correlation based on a comparison of one combination with at least one chronologically preceding combination.
A system for detecting a correlation of a first ring oscillator with a second ring oscillator, comprising:
- an arrangement for concatenating values at an output of the first ring oscillator to values at an output of the second ring oscillator so that, as a result of each concatenation, a combination of the value of the first ring oscillator and of the value of the second ring oscillator is created;
- and
- an arrangement for detecting the correlation based on a comparison of one combination with at least one chronologically preceding combination.
