Abstract
Systems, methods, and computer-readable and executable instructions are provided for providing a device agnostic active/active data center. Providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include receiving user communication assigned from a content delivery network (CDN) provider. In addition, providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include determining a designated database for the user communication. Furthermore, providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include assigning a destination address to the designated database for the user communication.
Claims25
A device agnostic computer-implemented method for storing data in a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of an active data center, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a computer of a first data center, a communication associated with a user from a content delivery network (CDN) provider;
- determining, by the computer, a database designated to store the received communication based on one or more criteria of a user profile associated with the user;
- and
- assigning, by the computer, to the communication a destination address of the database designated to store the communication.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions executable by a processor to cause a computer to:
- identify a user profile associated with a user, at a receiving database, for received user log-in communication;
- determine a designated database for the user log-in communication based on the user profile;
- assign a destination address of the designated database;
- and
- send a message to a content delivery network (CDN) provider that includes the destination address if the receiving database is different than the designated database.
A system comprising a processor in communication with a non-transitory computer readable medium, wherein the non-transitory computer readable medium includes a set of instructions executed by the processor to:
- receive a communication comprising login credentials associated with a user;
- generate a number of mirror log-in posts based on the user log-in communication;
- send one of the number of mirror log-in posts to a database;
- receive a message including instructions for sending a remaining number of mirror log-in posts to a database of a data center;
- and
- send one of the remaining number of mirror log-in posts to the database.
A computer-implemented method for preventing conflicts in data storage comprising:
- associating, by a computer of a first datacenter, an identifier of a first member with an address of a first database storing the member identifier;
- receiving and storing, by the computer, from a second datacenter a replication of a second database storing one or more identifiers in association with the address of the second database;
- receiving, by the computer, a transmission from a computing device of a second member;
- determining, by the computer, the address of the second database storing the identifier of the second member;
- transmitting, by the computer, an instruction to the computing device of the second member redirecting the computing device to the address of the second database.
