Abstract
A computer implemented method and apparatus for preserving analytics while processing digital content. The method comprises receiving a command for processing analytics-enabled digital content from a source file to a target file; accessing source analytics metadata from the source file; and converting the source analytics metadata to a target analytics metadata in the target file, wherein the target analytics metadata is in a format consistent with a target file format.

A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving a command for processing analytics-enabled digital content from a source file to a target file;
- accessing source analytics metadata from the source file;
- and
- converting the source analytics metadata to a target analytics metadata in the target file, wherein the target analytics metadata is in a format consistent with a target file format.
An apparatus for preserving analytics metadata file processing digital content, comprising:
- a processing module on a computer for receiving a command processing analytics-enabled digital content from a source file to a target file;
- and
- an analytics conversion module for accessing source analytics metadata from the source file, and converting the source analytics metadata to a target analytics metadata in the target file, wherein the target analytics metadata is in a format consistent with a target file format.
A non-transient computer readable medium for storing computer instructions that, when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to perform a method for preserving analytics metadata file processing digital content, comprising:
- receiving a command for processing analytics-enabled digital content from a source file to a target file;
- accessing source analytics metadata from the source file;
- and
- converting the source analytics metadata to a target analytics metadata in the target file, wherein the target analytics metadata is in a format consistent with a target file format.
