Computerized System and Method for Identifying Relationships

A system for identifying relationships among a plurality of elements stored in a computer database, comprising:

• a retrieval engine that retrieves in response to a request at least a first and a second element,
• an identifier that causes processing of information associated with said first and said second element to identify a relationship between a first attribute of said first element and a first attribute of said second element, said first attributes indicating a first characteristic of said corresponding data elements, the identifier responding to an identification of a relationship between said first attributes of said first and said second data elements by causing processing of information associates with said first and said second element to identify a relationship between a second attribute of said first element and a second attribute of said second element, said second attributes indicating a second characteristic of said corresponding data elements, and
• a result generator that provides an indication of relationships identified by said identifier.

A relationship identification engine comprising:

• means for identifying a first explicit relationship between a first attribute corresponding to a first data item and a first attribute corresponding to a second data item;
• and
• means for identifying an implicit relationship between said first data item and second data item as a function of said first explicit relationship.
