Abstract
Various techniques for chronology based content processing are disclosed herein. For example, in one embodiment, a method includes receiving a content containing a plurality of facts and determining a subject and a chronological value for each of the facts contained in the content. The subject includes at least one of a person, a place, an object, or an event, and wherein the chronological value includes at least a date. The method also includes assembling the facts in the content based on the determined subjects and corresponding chronological values for the individual facts.
Claims20
A method performed by at least one processor, the method comprising:
- accessing a content containing a plurality of facts;
- determining a subject and a chronological value for each of the facts contained in the content, wherein the subject includes at least one of a person, a place, an object, or an event, and wherein the chronological value includes at least a date;
- and
- assembling the facts in the content based on the determined subjects and corresponding chronological values for the individual facts.
A method performed by a processor, the method comprising:
- receiving a request for a subject from a client device, the subject including at least one of a person, a place, an object, or an event;
- searching a database containing a plurality of facts for a plurality of subjects based on the request, the facts in the database being arranged based on a corresponding one of the subjects and a corresponding chronological value;
- retrieving at least one fact related to the subject in the request;
- and
- transmitting the retrieved at least one fact to the client device.
A computer system having a processor and a memory containing instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the processor to perform a process comprising:
- receiving a content containing a plurality of sections;
- for each of the sections:
- detecting a reference potentially directed to more than one subjects, the subjects individually including at least one of a person, a place, an object, or an event, and wherein the chronological value includes at least a date;
- detecting a chronology value in the section;
- comparing the detected chronological value to a reference range for each of the subjects;
- and
- if the detected chronological value falls within the reference range of one of the subjects, indicating the reference as being directed to the one of the subjects;
- and
- associating the section with the identified one of the subjects and the detected chronology value;
- and
- assembling the sections in the content based on the associated subjects and chronological values.
