Abstract
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing local favorites are described. In some embodiments, the method entails receiving an indication from a first user of the social network of a local favorite to add or change on the local favorites page for a particular geographic location, updating the first user's local favorites page based on the received indication and storing the updated page in a database of the social network, and creating and publishing a posting regarding the first user's updated local favorites page on the social network on behalf of the first user of the social network.

A method comprising:
- receiving an indication from a first user of the social network of a local favorite to add or change on the local favorites page for a particular geographic location;
- updating the first user's local favorites page based on the received indication and storing the updated page in a database of the social network;
- creating and publishing a posting regarding the first user's updated local favorites page on the social network on behalf of the first user of the social network.
A set of one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media that provides instructions that, when executed by a computing device will cause said computing device perform a method comprising:
- receiving an indication from a first user of the social network of a local favorite to add or change on the local favorites page for a particular geographic location;
- updating the first user's local favorites page based on the received indication and storing the updated page in a database of the social network;
- creating and publishing a posting regarding the first user's updated local favorites page on the social network on behalf of the first user of the social network.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- memory to store program code, which when executed by the processor will cause the processor to:
- receive an indication from a first user of the social network of a local favorite to add or change on the local favorites page for a particular geographic location;
- update the first user's local favorites page based on the received indication and storing the updated page in a database of the social network;
- create and publish a posting regarding the first user's updated local favorites page on the social network on behalf of the first user of the social network.
