Abstract
An indication is received from a delivery client device that an order is accepted for delivery. Order delivery information is provided to the delivery client device. A notification is sent to a customer device that the order has been provided for delivery. An indication is received from the delivery client device of a present location on a delivery route. An order status update message is sent to the customer device based on the location.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving an indication from a delivery client device that an order is accepted for delivery;
- providing order delivery information to the delivery client device;
- sending a notification to a customer device that the order has been provided for delivery;
- receiving from the delivery client device an indication of a present location on a delivery route;
- sending an order status update message to the customer device based on the location.
A method, comprising:
- receiving input indicating an estimated wait time for an order;
- identifying a user associated with the input;
- determining whether the user is deemed reliable for estimating wait times;
- and
- if the user is deemed reliable, updating a graphical user interface that is provided via a network to provide a display of the estimated wait time.
A computing device comprising a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor, the instructions including instructions for:
- receiving an indication from a delivery client device that an order is accepted for delivery;
- providing order delivery information to the delivery client device;
- sending a notification to a customer device that the order has been provided for delivery;
- receiving from the delivery client device an indication of a present location on a delivery route;
- sending an order status update message to the customer device based on the location.
A computing device comprising a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor, the instructions including instructions for:
- receiving input indicating an estimated wait time for an order;
- identifying a user associated with the input;
- determining whether the user is deemed reliable for estimating wait times;
- and
- if the user is deemed reliable, updating a graphical user interface that is provided via a network to provide a display of the estimated wait time
