Abstract
A method, system and program product comprise accessing a transaction records database. Unmatched records are collected into a first set. The first set at least comprises events and transactions. Probabilities of event matches of transactions originating from an event are calculated. The calculating uses at least defined features and stored probability distributions. A quality value for each of the event matches is calculated. The quality value is at least in part being determined by the probability of the event match. A second set of optimized event matches is determined using at least the quality values. Each of the optimized event matches at least comprises transactions deemed to have been generated by the event.
Claims34
A method comprising the steps of:
- one or more computer processing units accessing a transaction records database;
- one or more computer processing units collecting unmatched records into a first set, the first set at least comprising events and transactions;
- one or more computer processing units calculating probabilities of event matches of transactions originating from an event, said calculating using at least defined features and stored probability distributions;
- one or more computer processing units calculating a quality value for each of the event matches, the quality value at least in part being determined by the probability of the event match;
- and
- one or more computer processing units determining a second set of optimized event matches using at least the quality values, each of the optimized event matches at least comprising transactions deemed to have been generated by the event.
A system comprising:
- one or more processing units being configured for accessing a transaction records database;
- one or more processing units being configured for collecting unmatched records into a first set, the first set at least comprising events and transactions;
- one or more processing units being configured for calculating probabilities of event matches of transactions originating from an event, said calculating using at least defined features and stored probability distributions;
- one or more processing units being configured for calculating a quality value for each of the event matches, the quality value at least in part being determined by the probability of the event match;
- and
- one or more processing units being configured for determining a second set of optimized event matches using at least the quality values, each of the optimized event matches at least comprising transactions deemed to have been generated by the event.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium with an executable program stored thereon, wherein the program instructs one or more processors to perform the following steps:
- accessing a transaction records database;
- collecting unmatched records into a first set, the first set at least comprising events and transactions;
- calculating probabilities of event matches of transactions originating from an event, said calculating using at least defined features and stored probability distributions;
- calculating a quality value for each of the event matches, the quality value at least in part being determined by the probability of the event match;
- and
- determining a second set of optimized event matches using at least the quality values, each of the optimized event matches at least comprising transactions deemed to have been generated by the event.
