Information processing system and information processing method

An information processing system including one or more computers, comprising:

• a first result storage part configured to store result values of operation amounts of a first device in a time series;
• a prediction part configured to generate prediction values of operation amounts of the first device during a predetermined period based on change of the result values;
• a calculation part configured to calculate predetermined indicator values based on the prediction values and information about the first device;
• an extraction part configured to extract a second device among one or more substitutional devices for the first device based on comparing the predetermined indicator values calculated for each one of the substitutional devices based on the prediction values of the operation amounts with the predetermined indicator values for the first device;
• a replacement information storage part configured to store correspondence information between a device before replacement and a device after replacement for each result of replacement cases;
• an obtainment part configured to obtain operation amounts of the device before replacement and the device after replacement, respectively, relating to the correspondence information about a replacement case of the first device by the second device, from a second result storage part storing result values of operation amounts in a time series for each of the devices;
• and
• an output part configured to output information based on the operation amounts obtained by the obtainment part.
