Abstract
Apparatuses and methods are provided that can acquire benchmarking data regarding a particular performance metric, compare a pharmacy's performance with the performance of other pharmacies using the benchmarking data, and recommend action plans aimed at improving the pharmacy's performance. The action plans may be customized for the particular pharmacy, so as to provide the pharmacy with a detailed, pharmacy-specific recommendation for improving performance in one or more targeted areas.
Claims20
An apparatus for providing action plans for improving health care provider performance, the apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least:
- receive selection from a user of one of a plurality of predefined performance metrics;
- analyze performance of a health care provider with respect to benchmarking data for the metric selected;
- and
- provide for presentation to the user of a recommended action plan based on the metric selected and the performance of the health care provider.
A method for providing action plans for improving health care provider performance comprising:
- receiving selection from a user of one of a plurality of predefined performance metrics;
- analyzing, via a processor, performance of a health care provider with respect to benchmarking data for the metric selected;
- and
- providing for presentation to the user of a recommended action plan based on the metric selected and performance of the health care provider.
A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable program code portions stored therein, the computer-executable program code portions comprising program code instructions for:
- receiving selection from a user of one of a plurality of predefined performance metrics;
- analyzing performance of a health care provider with respect to benchmarking data for the metric selected;
- and
- providing for presentation to the user of a recommended action plan based on the metric selected and the performance of the health care provider.
