Abstract
A circuit arrangement including a rectifier circuit and a current determining circuit. The rectifier circuit is configured to rectify an alternating signal into a rectified signal. The current determining circuit is configured to determine a current of the alternating signal from at least a current of the rectified signal.

A circuit arrangement, comprising:
- a rectifier circuit configured to rectify an alternating signal into a rectified signal;
- and
- a current determining circuit configured to determine a current of the alternating signal from at least a current of the rectified signal.
A method for determining a current in a circuit arrangement, the method comprising:
- rectifying an alternating signal into a rectified signal;
- determining a current associated with the rectified signal;
- and
- determining an alternating current by using a circuit topology of the circuit arrangement and the current associated with the rectified signal.
