• V is selected from —C(O)— and —S(O)2—;
• R1 in each occurrence is independently selected from halo, —CN, C1-6alkyl, —OC1-6alkyl, and —NO2, wherein the C1-6alkyl is optionally substituted with one to three halo;
• R2 in each occurrence is independently selected from hydrogen, halo, and C1-6alkyl;
• R3 is selected from H and C1-6alkyl;
• R6 is H or C1-6 alkyl;
• R7 is H or C1-6 alkyl;
• n is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6;
• and
• w is 0, 1, 2, or 3.

• T is selected from —C(O)—, —NH(C(O))—, and —S(O)2—;
• V is selected from —C(O)— and —S(O)2—;
• R1 in each occurrence is independently selected from halo, —CN, C1-6alkyl, —OC1-6alkyl, and —NO2, wherein the C1-6alkyl is optionally substituted with one to three halo;
• R2 in each occurrence is independently selected from hydrogen, halo, and C1-6alkyl;
• R3 is selected from H and C1-6alkyl;
• R6 is H or C1-6 alkyl;
• R7 is H or C1-6 alkyl, and R8 is a bond or C1-C3 alkylene, wherein the C1-C3 alkylene is optionally substituted with 1-3 substituents selected from R10, or —R8—OR7 is absent;
• R9 in each occurrence is independently OH, halo, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkyl-OH, C1-C6 fluoroalkyl, C1-C6 heteroalkyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, a C3-C10 heterocycloalkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, —C1-C4 alkyl-(C3-C10 cycloalkyl), —C1-C4 alkyl-(C3-C10 heterocycloalkyl), —C1-C4 alkyl-(aryl), or —C1-C4 alkyl-(heteroaryl), and wherein the alkyl, heteroalkyl, cycloalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, aryl or heteroaryl ring is optionally substituted with 1-5 substituents selected from R10;
• R10 is independently selected at each occurrence from the group consisting of halo, —CN, —NO2, —C1-C6 alkyl, —C1-C6 alkoxy, —C1-C6 fluoroalkyl, —C1-C6 heteroalkyl, and C(O)—C1-C6 alkyl;
