Abstract
Hydrocarbon recovery compounds that can be used as flowback agents and other purposes are disclosed. The compounds reduce water blockage when injected into a fractured reservoir. The composition includes a sorbitan emulsifier, ethoxylated wetting agent, and detergent.

A hydrocarbon removal composition comprising:
- a sorbitan emulsifier,
- an ethoxylated wetting agent, and
- a detergent.
A composition comprising the hydrocarbon removal composition and a hydrocarbon.
