Abstract
A folding device of a printing press and a method for operating the folding device is disclosed. The folding device includes a first cylinder with a first assembly and a second cylinder with a second assembly. The first assembly interacts with the second assembly during a folding operation. A relative position between the first cylinder and the second cylinder is variable in a circumferential direction such that a circumferential relative position between the first assembly and the second assembly is variable.
Claims14
A folding device of a printing press, comprising:
- a first cylinder with a first assembly;
- and
- a second cylinder with a second assembly;
- wherein the first assembly interacts with the second assembly during a folding operation;
- and wherein a relative position between the first cylinder and the second cylinder is variable in a circumferential direction such that a circumferential relative position between the first assembly and the second assembly is variable.
A method for operating a folding device of a printing press, wherein the folding device includes:
- a first cylinder with a first assembly;
- and
- a second cylinder with a second assembly;
- wherein the first assembly interacts with the second assembly during a folding operation;
- and comprising the step of:
- changing a relative position between the first cylinder and the second cylinder in a circumferential direction such that a circumferential relative position between the first assembly and the second assembly is changed.
