• determining location information and/or time information of the IP LNB assembly;
• and
• providing services based on the determined location information and/or the determined time information.

• one or more circuits for use in an Internet protocol low noise block downconverter (IP LNB) assembly within a satellite reception assembly, wherein the one or more circuits are operable to:
• determine location information and/or time information of the IP LNB assembly;
• and
• provide services based on the determined location information and/or the determined time information.

A system, comprising:

• an Internet protocol low noise block downconverter (IP LNB) assembly that is operational within a satellite reception assembly, wherein the IP LNB assembly is operable to:
• determine location information and/or time information of the IP LNB assembly;
• and
• provide services based on the determined location information and/or the determined time information.
