Abstract
Apparatus and method for managing connections of a plurality of devices by a Near Field Communication (NFC) Controller (NFCC) through NFC. The method includes setting identification information of an entity, the entity being requested from an NFC device for a connection with the NFC device; and setting a logical link between the NFC device and the entity based on the identification information.

A method for managing, by a Near Field Communication Controller (NFCC), connections between a plurality of devices through Near Field Communication (NFC), the method comprising:
- receiving a request, from a Device Host (DH), for information on entities connected with the NFCC;
- setting identification information to each of the entities;
- transmitting at least a portion of the identification information to the DH;
- receiving a request for connections with one or more of the entities from the DH;
- setting one or more logical connections between the DH and the requested one or more of the entities;
- and
- transmitting logical connection information on the one or more logical connections to the DH.
A Near Field Communication Controller (NFCC) for managing connections between a plurality of devices through Near Field Communication (NFC), the NFCC comprising:
- an NFC controller interface configured to receive a request, from a Device Host (DH), for information on entities connected with the NFCC;
- a processor configured to:
- set identification information to each of the entities,
- control the NFC controller interface to transmit at least a portion of the identification information to the DH,
- control the NFC controller interface to receive, from the DH, a request for connections with one or more of the entities,
- set one or more logical connections between the DH and the requested one or more of the entities, and
- control the NFC controller interface to transmit, to the DH, logical connection information on the one or more logical connections;
- and
- a memory configured to store the identification information to each of the entities.
