Abstract
Disclosed is a method for storing a cartilage-cell-adhering porous body in an airtight state over a long term of at shortest 14 days. The method comprises suspending isolated cartilage cells into atelocollagen solution at 1.0×107 to 1.0×108 cells/ml to prepare a cell suspension, seeding the cell suspension to a biocompatible porous body, gelatinizing the suspension on the porous body to yield the cartilage-cell-adhering porous body, and keeping the body at 26 to 37° C. in a medium of 1 mL or more per 1.0×105 cells, containing insulin, a fibroblast growth factor and a 5% or more serum, while being shaken at the shaking speed of 0 to 2.8 cm/s.
Claims8
A method for storing a cartilage-cell-adhering porous body in an airtight state over a long term of at shortest 14 days, comprising:
- suspending isolated cartilage cells into a 2 to 3% atelocollagen at an administration cell concentration of 1.0×107 cells/ml to 1.0×108 cells/ml to prepare a cell suspension;
- seeding the cell suspension to a biocompatible porous body;
- gelatinizing the cell suspension in/on the porous body to yield the cartilage-cell-adhering porous body;
- and
- keeping the cartilage-cell-adhering porous body at a temperature of 26 to 37° C. in a medium having an amount of 1 mL or more per 1.0×105 cells that are administrated living cells out of the cartilage cells, the medium containing insulin, a fibroblast growth factor, and a 5% or more serum, while the porous body is shaken to set the shaking speed of the medium in the range of 0 cm/s or more and 2.8 cm/s or less.
