Abstract
System, apparatuses, and methods can provide customized exercise sessions and customized videos corresponding to the exercise session. Exercise components that are available to a user for an exercise category can be determined. Certain available components can be selected to include in a customized session. Components of selected exercise categories can be selected to fill slots in the session. The selected components can have ranks that satisfy one or more criteria.
Claims20
A method of customizing an exercise session for a user, the method comprising:
- receiving a set of available components for a plurality of categories, wherein each available component corresponds to a respective physical exercise, each available component having a rank for a corresponding category;
- receiving a selection of a session template that specifies a number of categories and a number of slots for components for each category;
- selecting a group of categories consistent with the session template;
- for each of the selected categories:
- selecting, by a computer system, components from available components for the selected category, the selected components having ranks that satisfy one or more criteria with respect to a rank of the user;
- placing the selected components in the slots of the session template;
- creating an exercise session from the selected components at the slots of the session template;
- and
- providing the exercise session to the user.
A computer product comprising a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a plurality of instructions that when executed control a computer system to customize an exercise session for a user, the instructions comprising:
- receiving a set of available components for a plurality of categories, wherein each available component corresponds to a respective physical exercise, each available component having a rank for a corresponding category;
- receiving a selection of a session template that specifies a number of categories and a number of slots for components for each category;
- selecting a group of categories consistent with the session template;
- for each of the selected categories:
- selecting components from available components for the selected category, the selected components having ranks that satisfy one or more criteria with respect to a rank of the user;
- placing the selected components in the slots of the session template;
- creating an exercise session from the selected components at the slots of the session template;
- and
- providing the exercise session to the user.
