An extended release particle, wherein said extended release particle comprises starch, phenylephrine, and ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate copolymer, wherein said starch, phenylephrine, and ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate copolymer are coated with at least two coating layers.
