Abstract
A pigmented skin care composition including a dermatologically acceptable carrier and at least a first and second interference pigment. The composition according to the invention is useful in improving the appearance of the skin and in particular in reducing the appearance of skin discontinuities.
Claims15
A skin care composition comprising:
- a dermatologically acceptable carrier;
- a plurality of interference pigments, wherein a summation of all the interference pigments in the composition having a particle size between 2 μm and 75 μm is equal to or less than 4% of the composition by weight;
- and
- wherein the composition has a redness reduction index (RRI) of less than −7.5.
