A method for treating an inflammatory disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising an biological or chemical agent that exerts a modulating effect of human homeobox gene VentX.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising an biological or chemical agent that exerts a modulating effect of human homeobox gene VentX.
A method for identifying a compound which regulates the VentX expression, comprising:
- (a) providing a cell comprising a polynuceotide comprising VentX promoter;
- (b) contacting the cell with a candidate compound;
- and (c) measuring the activity of VentX expression.
