Abstract

Panels of biomarkers, methods and systems are disclosed for determining gene expression, and diagnosing and treating melanoma.

Dependent claims

A method of altering treatment comprising:

a) measuring in a sample from a patient suspected of suffering from melanoma, the expression of a panel of genes;
b) combining the measured expression of each of the panel of genes to provide a test value;
c) comparing the test value to a reference value;
and
d) altering treatment for the patient based on a difference between the test value and the reference value,
wherein the panel of genes comprises a combination of three genes from Table YY.
