Abstract
System, apparatuses, and methods can provide customized exercise sessions and customized videos corresponding to the exercise session. Recorded video content of a person performing a repetitive exercise can be obtained from multiple cameras. Metadata can identify certain decision points in the video tracks. At decision points, a decision can be made about switching to a different video track, e.g., to obtain a customized video with a specified amount of the repetitive motion.
Claims20
A method of generating a customized exercise video, the method comprising:
- receiving data of a plurality of video tracks of repetitive motion of a person, each video track corresponding to a different camera used to capture the repetitive motion of the person;
- receiving, at a computer system, metadata corresponding to the plurality of video tracks, the metadata including times of decision points in the repetitive motion for each video track;
- at each of a plurality of the decision points:
- selecting, by the computer system, a segment of one of the video tracks to use for a next segment of the exercise video based on one or more selection rules, the one or more selection rules including a total amount of repetitive motion to be performed;
- and
- saving identification information of the selected segments in a configuration file, the configuration file usable to generate exercise video.
A computer product comprising a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a plurality of instructions that when executed control a computer system to generate a customized exercise video, the instructions comprising:
- receiving data of a plurality of video tracks of repetitive motion of a person, each video track corresponding to a different camera used to capture the repetitive motion of the person;
- receiving metadata corresponding to the plurality of video tracks, the metadata including times of decision points in the repetitive motion for each video track;
- at each of a plurality of the decision points:
- selecting a segment of one of the video tracks to use for a next segment of the exercise video based on one or more selection rules, the one or more selection rules including a total amount of repetitive motion to be performed;
- and
- saving identification information of the selected segments in a configuration file, the configuration file usable to generate exercise video.
