Abstract
An agglomerate is provided that can include an aluminosilicate (ash) base material and one or more of a binding agent or leach reduction agent. Each of the agglomerate and binding agent can include no more than about 25 wt. % cement.
Claims47
An agglomerate, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate ash base material;
- and
- a binding agent, wherein the binding agent comprises no more than about 25 wt. % cement.
An agglomerate, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate base material;
- and
- a polysulfide binding agent, wherein the agglomerate comprises no more than about 2.5 wt. % cement.
An agglomerate, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate base material;
- and
- a leach reduction additive.
A method for solidifying a fly ash polymer comprising:
- receiving an aluminosilicate fly ash separated from a waste gas stream;
- and
- contacting the aluminosilicate fly ash with water and at least one of a binding agent and a leach reduction additive to form an agglomerate, wherein the agglomerate comprises no more than about 2.5 wt. % cement.
