Abstract
A fluorescent paste that can form a fluorescent film and can be manufactured without a binder resin and has a high recording density and peel resistance Fluorescent fine particles each coated with a film formed of a film compound having a reactive group and a curing agent having a plurality of crosslinking reaction groups each reacting with the reactive group to form bonds are blended with a solvent to manufacture fluorescent paste. The fluorescent paste is applied to a substrate coated with a film formed of a second film compound having a second reactive group and is cured by crosslinking reactions between the reactive group and the second reactive group, and the crosslinking reaction groups to form a fluorescent film.
Claims20
A method of forming a fluorescent particle composition, the method comprising:
- contacting a plurality of particle linkers with a plurality of fluorescent particles such that the particle linkers bind with the particles to form reactive particles, the particle linkers each having a particle binding group that binds with the particle and a reactive group;
- and
- blending in a solvent the reactive particles with a crosslinking agent having a plurality of crosslinking reactive groups such that the crosslinking agent crosslinks two or more particles together so as to form a fluorescent paste.
A method of forming a fluorescent particle composition, the method comprising:
- contacting a plurality of film compounds with a plurality of fluorescent particles such that the film compounds form a film coated on each of the fluorescent particles, the film compounds having a reactive group and a surface bonding group, the surface bonding group bonding to the fluorescent particles to form reactive fluorescent particles;
- and
- blending in a solvent the reactive fluorescent particles with a curing agent having a plurality of crosslinking reaction groups which can react with the reactive groups of the film to bind the plurality of fluorescent particles together, wherein the curing agent is selected from the group consisting of compounds having two or more epoxy groups, compounds having two or more isocyanate groups, and imidazole compounds.
A method of forming a fluorescent particle composition, the method comprising:
- coating a plurality of fluorescent particles with a film compound to form reactive fluorescent particles with a film coated on the fluorescent particles, wherein the film compound has a surface bonding group for bonding to the fluorescent particles and an epoxy reactive group;
- and
- blending the reactive fluorescent particles with an imidazole curing agent which can react with the epoxy reactive groups of the reactive fluorescent particles to bind the plurality of fluorescent particles together.
