Abstract
At least one connection is defined between protocol entities hosted by network nodes in a packet data communication network. Data packets that include information identifying communicating protocol entities are received. The received data packets are stored into batches corresponding to the defined connections, on the basis of the information identifying communicating protocol entities.
Claims19
A method, comprising:
- defining at least one connection between protocol entities hosted by network nodes in a packet data communication network;
- receiving data packets including information identifying communicating protocol entities;
- and
- storing the received data packets, into batches corresponding to the defined connections, on the basis of the information identifying communicating protocol entities.
An apparatus, comprising at least one network interface, memory and a batching unit that are operatively connected and configured to cause the apparatus to:
- define at least one connection between protocol entities hosted by network nodes in a packet data communication network;
- receive data packets including information identifying communicating protocol entities;
- and
- store the received data packets, into batches corresponding to the defined connections, on the basis of the information identifying communicating protocol entities.
A computer program embodied on a non-transitory computer readable storage medium, the computer program being configured to control a processor to perform:
- defining at least one connection between protocol entities hosted by network nodes in a packet data communication network;
- receiving data packets including information identifying communicating protocol entities;
- and
- storing the received data packets, into batches corresponding to the defined connections, on the basis of the information identifying communicating protocol entities.
