Method or system for recommending personalized content

An apparatus, comprising:

• a receiver to receive one or more electronic signals from an electronic communication network;
• and
• a processor to initiate display of a content recommendation for a particular user, said content recommendation being received via the one or more electronic signals and being determined based at least in part on:
• a jointly processing of user interest and content semantics;
• wherein said user interest is based at least in part on a relationship between users and content, and content semantics being based at least in part on a relationship between content and keywords;
• and
• application of said joint processing to generate said content recommendation for said particular user.

An article, comprising:

• a storage medium comprising machine-readable instructions executable by a special purpose apparatus to:
• generate a user behavior cube at least in response to determining one or more latent interests for content based at least in part on an evaluation of content semantics based at least in part on a relationship between said content and keywords, and user interest for said content;
• generate a content recommendation for a particular user based at least in part on the user behavior cube and a user profile for said particular user, said user profile indicating one or more particular interests for the particular user;
• and
• initiate transmission of an electronic signal via an electronic communication network to a computing device, wherein the electronic signal comprises information corresponding to the content recommendation.
