Abstract
A graphical interface and method are provided for displaying market information corresponding to a tradeable object. According to one example embodiment, a market depth indicator is displayed in relation to a value axis in a market overview interface. Then, detailed market depth is displayed in a market depth interface, and a plurality of market depth prices displayed in the market depth interface are adjustable based on a position of the market depth indicator in relation to the value axis.

A electronic trading device comprising:
- a user input device;
- an electronic display;
- and
- an electronic processor coupled with the electronic display and the user input device, where the electronic processor is configured to generate on the electronic display:
- a market view interface for a tradeable object, the market view interface displaying at least one parameter of a plurality of parameters and having a scan area relative to the tradeable object for receiving a user input, and
- a depth gauge interface relative to the market view interface in response to receiving a user input relative to the scan area via the user input device, the depth gauge interface including a value axis for the tradeable object, the value axis including an area for displaying at least a bid quantity indicator for a highest bid price for the tradeable object relative to the value axis and an area for displaying an ask quantity indicator for a lowest ask price for the tradeable object relative to the value axis.
