Information providing system, information providing apparatus and information providing method

An information providing apparatus comprising:

• a wireless LAN communication unit;
• a store information storage unit configured to store products sold in a store in which the wireless LAN communication unit is installed, as information on sales products;
• a detecting unit configured to detect a wireless terminal existing in the store;
• an acquiring unit configured to acquire information on a purchase planned product sent from the wireless terminal detected by the detecting unit, through the wireless LAN communication unit;
• an acquiring unit configured to acquire information on the sales products corresponding to the purchase planned products from the store information storage unit, when the information on the purchase planned products is acquired by the acquiring unit;
• and
• a sending unit configured to send the information on the sales products which is acquired by the acquiring unit to the wireless terminal through the wireless LAN communication unit.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium containing program instructions for providing information, wherein execution of the program instructions by one or more processors of a computer system causes the one or more processors to perform:

• storing a shopping list including information on purchase planned products;
• sending the information on the purchase planned products included in the shopping list;
• receiving information on sales products corresponding to the purchase planned products;
• and
• displaying the information on the sales products which is received in the receiving.

An information providing method comprising:

• detecting a wireless terminal existing in a store in which a wireless LAN communication apparatus is installed, by the wireless LAN communication apparatus;
• sending information on purchase planned products included in a shopping list to the wireless LAN communication apparatus, by the wireless terminal;
• transferring the information on the purchase planned products which is sent from the wireless terminal, to an information providing apparatus, by the wireless LAN communication apparatus;
• acquiring the information on the purchase planned products from the wireless LAN communication apparatus, by the information providing apparatus;
• acquiring information on sales products corresponding to the purchase planned products, from a store information storage unit which stores pieces of information on the sales products in the store, by the information providing apparatus, when the information on the purchase planned products is acquired;
• sending the information on the sales products which is acquired from the store information storage unit to the wireless LAN communication apparatus, by the information providing apparatus;
• acquiring the information on the sales products corresponding to the purchase planned products from the information providing apparatus, and transferring the acquired information to the wireless terminal, by the wireless LAN communication apparatus;
• and
• displaying the information on the sales products which is received from the wireless LAN communication apparatus on a display unit, by the wireless terminal.
