Abstract
Several methods and systems for navigation in an indoor environment are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method includes receiving coded data corresponding to a plurality of destinations in an indoor environment. The coded data is received on a device associated with a user from at least one data source provided in the indoor environment. The method further includes determining one or more navigation paths corresponding to at least one destination from among the plurality of destinations based on the coded data. The one or more navigation paths facilitate user navigation in the indoor environment.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving coded data corresponding to a plurality of destinations in an indoor environment, wherein the coded data is received on a device associated with a user from at least one data source provided in the indoor environment;
- and
- determining one or more navigation paths corresponding to at least one destination from among the plurality of destinations based on the coded data, wherein the one or more navigation paths facilitate user navigation in the indoor environment.
A system comprising:
- a data acquisition module configured to receive coded data corresponding to a plurality of destinations in an indoor environment, wherein the coded data is received from at least one data source provided in the indoor environment;
- a processing module communicatively associated with the data acquisition module and configured to determine one or more navigation paths corresponding to at least one destination from among the plurality of destinations based on the coded data;
- and
- a display module communicatively associated with the data acquisition module and the processing module and configured to display the determined one or more navigation paths, wherein the one or more navigation paths facilitate user navigation in the indoor environment.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions that when executed cause a computer to perform a method of facilitating navigation, the method comprising:
- receiving coded data corresponding to a plurality of destinations in an indoor environment, wherein the coded data is received on a device associated with a user from at least one data source provided in the indoor environment;
- and
- determining one or more navigation paths corresponding to at least one destination from among the plurality of destinations based on the coded data, wherein the one or more navigation paths facilitate user navigation in the indoor environment.
