Abstract
A system includes a processor configured to send likelihood-of-success request, including vehicle state information. The processor is further configured to receive information representing likelihood of reaching route points, utilizing a current vehicle charge, along with effects on the likelihood based on one or more power utilization changes. The processor is also configured to interactively display the received information and receive power utilization change selection. Also, the processor is configured to calculate a new likelihood of reaching the points based on the selection and display updated information based on the calculation.
Claims18
A system comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- receive data from a remote server indicating a vehicle system for which prevention of utilization for a journey's duration increases the probability of successfully reaching a destination on a remaining power charge;
- determine if the indicated vehicle system corresponds to a lockable system;
- and
- automatically lock-out the lockable system to prevent lockable system utilization for the journey's duration.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving data from a remote server indicating a vehicle system for which prevention of utilization for a journey's duration increases the probability of successfully reaching a destination on a remaining power charge;
- determining if the indicated vehicle system corresponds to a lockable system;
- and
- automatically locking-out the lockable system to prevent lockable system utilization for the journey's duration.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- receiving data from a remote server indicating a vehicle system for which prevention of utilization for a journey's duration increases the probability of successfully reaching a destination on a remaining power charge;
- determining if the indicated vehicle system corresponds to a lockable system;
- and
- automatically locking-out the lockable system to prevent lockable system utilization for the journey's duration.
