Abstract
A system includes a processor configured to send likelihood-of-success request, including vehicle state information. The processor is further configured to receive information representing likelihood of reaching route points, utilizing a current vehicle charge, along with effects on the likelihood based on one or more power utilization changes. The processor is also configured to interactively display the received information and receive power utilization change selection. Also, the processor is configured to calculate a new likelihood of reaching the points based on the selection and display updated information based on the calculation.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- send likelihood-of-success request, including vehicle state information;
- receive information representing probability of reaching route points, calculated utilizing a current vehicle charge, along with effects on the probability based on vehicle system power utilization changes;
- display selectable vehicle system power utilization changes;
- receive vehicle system power utilization change selection;
- calculate a new probability of reaching the points based on the selection;
- and
- display updated information based on the calculation.

- a processor configured to:
- receive a request for route-success probability calculation;
- receive vehicle data;
- gather route-data affecting vehicle power usage;
- calculate varied percentage chances of reaching a plurality of points along a route, based at least in part on the received and gathered data;
- calculate percentage chance changes based on possible vehicle system power utilization changes;
- and
- return the calculated varied percentage chances and percentage chance changes to a requesting entity.
A system comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- receive user-selection of a vehicle system power utilization changes affecting a projected vehicle range;
- determine if the selected power utilization changes corresponds to a lockable vehicle system;
- and
- lock-out the lockable vehicle system to prevent utilization of the lockable vehicle system for the duration of a journey.
