Abstract
Method and system for treating a patient using an inflatable device. A removal device may be used to remove the inflatable device from the body. The removal device can have at least one manually-actuatable member and at least two opposing jaws at a distal end. At least one of the at least two jaws can be movable by actuation of the at least one manually-actuatable member. At least one of the at least two jaws can have a puncturing member.

(canceled)
A removal device having a distal end and proximal end, the removal device comprising:
- (a) at least one manually-actuatable member;
- and
- (b) at least two opposing jaws at the distal end, at least one of the at least two jaws being movable by actuation of the at least one manually-actuatable member, wherein each of the jaws comprises a row of teeth, the rows of teeth being complementarily shaped but defining a space therebetween when the jaws are closed, at least one of the at least two jaws comprises a puncturing member;
- wherein a distance between a tip of the puncturing member and a tip of a most adjacent tooth is equal to or greater than the difference in distance between a height of the puncturing member and a height of the adjacent most tooth.
A removal device having a distal end and proximal end, the removal device comprising:
- (a) at least one manually-actuatable member;
- and
- (b) at least two opposing jaws at the distal end, the at least two jaws being movable by actuation of the at least one manually-actuatable member, wherein each of the jaws comprises a row of teeth, at least some of the teeth of the rows of teeth being complementarily shaped when the jaws are closed, at least one of the at least two jaws comprises a puncturing member;
- wherein the puncturing member has an opening that extends from a tip down the entire height of the puncturing member that is exposed.
