Indwelling catheter

An indwelling catheter comprising:

• a hollow catheter base having a tip and a back end, the back end being able to receive and connect a male connector configured to be inserted from a back end side exterior;
• a tube provided at the tip of the catheter base;
• a flexible hemostasis valve installed inside the catheter base;
• a pusher installed at a back of the hemostasis valve;
• and
• a pusher guide installed between the pusher and an inner wall of the catheter base, wherein
• the pusher has a hollow constitution, and has a taper that reduces in diameter facing a tip of the pusher, and
• the pusher guide has a constitution which is able to restrict a position of the pusher with the pusher at a first position for which the pusher does not push open the hemostasis valve, and a second position for which the taper of the pusher is positioned inside the hemostasis valve and does push open the hemostasis valve.
