Abstract
A system and method is provided whereby a user selectively actuates one or more illumination devices that are incorporated on the jersey of a wearer.

A system for remotely illuminating jerseys, said system comprising:
- a jersey having at least one illuminating device;
- a wireless receiver operatively associated with said illuminating device;
- a transmitter operatively associated with said receiver, said transmitter constructed and arranged for actuating and deactivating said illumination device.
