Determining telecommunication subscriber metrics

A system comprising:

• at least one memory comprising instructions;
• and
• at least one computer processor in communication with the at least one memory, wherein the at least one computer processor, when executing the instructions, effectuates operations comprising:
• receiving a plurality of records, each of which is associated with a switching point in a network in response to a request for a routed service associated with a source telephone number identified in the record, wherein each record comprises a recipient telephone number;
• determining an associated service provider for each recipient telephone number by comparing each recipient telephone number to:
• information indicating that a respective telephone number is assigned to a respective service provider, and
• information associated with local number portability;
• and
• determining a number of recipient telephone numbers for a first service provider by aggregating each recipient telephone number associated with the first carrier.

A computer-readable medium that is not a transient signal, the computer-readable medium comprising computer-executable instructions to:

• receive a plurality of records, each of which is associated with a switching point in a network in response to a request for a routed service associated with a source telephone number identified in the record, wherein each record comprises a recipient telephone number;
• determine an associated service provider for each recipient telephone number by comparing each recipient telephone number to:
• information indicating that a respective telephone number is assigned to a respective service provider, and
• information associated with local number portability;
• and
• determine a number of recipient telephone numbers for a first service provider by aggregating each recipient telephone number associated with the first carrier.
