Abstract
A closure unit of an injection molding machine has a fixed mold mounting plate, a moveable mold mounting plate, and at least one mounting element for mounting the fixed mold mounting plate to a machine frame. The at least one mounting element upon accelerations and decelerations of the moveable mold mounting plate to reach the closed position allows such movements of the fixed mold mounting plate relative to the machine frame that rotations and/or movements transversely relative to a machine axis of the fixed mold mounting plate relative to the moveable mold mounting plate are substantially prevented.

A closure unit of an injection molding machine having a fixed mold mounting plate, a moveable mold mounting plate and at least one mounting element for mounting the fixed mold mounting plate to a machine frame, wherein the at least one mounting element upon accelerations and decelerations of the moveable mold mounting plate to reach the closed position allows such movements of the fixed mold mounting plate relative to the machine frame that rotations and/or movements transversely relative to a machine axis of the fixed mold mounting plate relative to the moveable mold mounting plate are substantially prevented.
