Abstract
A motor compressor unit including a common housing sealed with respect to a gas to be compressed, a motor mounted to the common housing, and a compressor mounted to the common housing. The motor is mounted in an inner casing fastened in the common housing by at least one removable fastening device such that the motor and the inner casing form a removable cartridge.

A motor compressor unit comprising;
- a common housing sealed with respect to a gas to be compressed;
- a motor mounted to the common housing;
- and
- a compressor mounted to the common housing,
- wherein the motor is mounted in an inner casing fastened in the common housing by at least one removable fastening device such that the motor and the inner casing form a removable cartridge.
