Abstract
Techniques for audio control for an electronic device are discussed. The audio control for speaker channel configuration facilitates supporting proper audio stereo sound based at least in part on an orientation of the electronic device.

A computer readable medium comprising a plurality of instructions to facilitate operation of an electronic device according to the following process, the process comprising:
- configure a rear facing speaker of the electronic device;
- enable a sensor to determine an orientation of the electronic device;
- and
- configure a volume and frequency response of the rear speaker based on the orientation of the electronic device.

- detecting an orientation of the electronic device;
- and
- adjusting a volume and a frequency response of the rear facing speaker based at least in part on the orientation.
