Abstract
A method for receiving a PDCH is provided. The method comprises: receiving, by a UE, information identifying a plurality of resource elements that are transmitted with zero power in a resource block containing the PDCH; receiving, by the UE, a first DMRS on a first DMRS port transmitted from a first cell; and receiving, by the UE, the PDCH that is transmitted on the first DMRS port.
Claims24
A method for receiving a physical downlink channel (PDCH), the method comprising:
- receiving, by a user equipment (UE), information identifying a plurality of resource elements that are transmitted with zero power in a resource block containing the PDCH;
- receiving, by the UE, a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) on a first DMRS port transmitted from a first cell;
- and
- receiving, by the UE, the PDCH that is transmitted on the first DMRS port.
A method for transmitting a physical downlink channel (PDCH), the method comprising:
- transmitting, by a network element, information identifying a plurality of resource elements that are transmitted with zero power in a resource block containing the PDCH;
- transmitting, by the network element, a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) on a first DMRS port transmitted from a first cell;
- and
- transmitting, by the network element, the PDCH on the first DMRS port.
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- a processor configured such that the UE receives information identifying a plurality of resource elements that are transmitted with zero power in a resource block containing a physical downlink channel (PDCH), further configured such that the UE receives a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) on a first DMRS port transmitted from a first cell, and further configured such that the UE receives the PDCH that is transmitted on the first DMRS port.
