Overhead-free provisioning of roaming wifi networks

A method, comprising:

• scanning, by one or more computer processors, a primary repository to determine whether the primary repository stores one or more matching primary wireless profiles corresponding to one or more wireless networks;
• executing, by the one or more computer processors, a primary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the primary repository stores the one or more matching primary wireless profiles;
• scanning, by the one or more computer processors, one or more secondary repositories to determine whether the one or more secondary repositories store one or more matching secondary wireless profiles corresponding to the one or more wireless networks responsive to a determination that the primary repository does not store the one or more matching primary wireless profiles;
• and
• executing, by the one or more computer processors, a secondary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the one or more secondary repositories store the one or more matching secondary wireless profiles.

A system, comprising:

• a primary repository storing one or more primary wireless profiles;
• one or more secondary repositories storing one or more secondary wireless profiles;
• and
• one or more computer processors operatively coupled to at least one memory storing a primary connection module and a secondary connection module,
• wherein the one or more computer processors are configured to execute one or more computer-executable instructions forming at least part of the primary connection module to:
• scan the primary repository to determine whether the primary repository stores one or more matching primary wireless profiles among the one or more primary wireless profiles, the one or more matching primary wireless profiles corresponding to one or more wireless networks, and
• execute a primary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the primary repository stores the one or more matching primary wireless profiles, and
• wherein the one or more computer processors are configured to execute one or more computer-executable instructions forming at least part of the secondary connection module to:
• scan the one or more secondary repositories to determine whether the one or more secondary repositories store one or more matching secondary wireless profiles among the one or more secondary wireless profiles responsive to a determination that the primary repository does not store the one or more matching primary wireless profiles, the one or more matching secondary wireless profiles corresponding to the one or more wireless networks, and
• execute a secondary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the one or more secondary repositories store the one or more matching secondary wireless profiles.

One or more computer-readable media storing one or more computer-executable instructions that responsive to execution by one or more computer processors cause operations to be performed comprising:

• scanning a primary repository to determine whether the primary repository stores one or more matching primary wireless profiles corresponding to one or more wireless networks;
• executing a primary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the primary repository stores the one or more matching primary wireless profiles;
• scanning one or more secondary repositories to determine whether the one or more secondary repositories store one or more matching secondary wireless profiles corresponding to the one or more wireless networks responsive to a determination that the primary repository does not store the one or more matching primary wireless profiles;
• and
• executing a secondary connection cycle responsive to a determination that the one or more secondary repositories store the one or more matching secondary wireless profiles.
