Abstract
A display apparatus includes: a display panel which has a display surface; an apparatus base to which the display panel is attached; a detecting unit which has a detecting surface disposed so as to face a region to be inspected being a part of the display surface, the detecting unit detecting by means of the detecting surface, light emitted from the region to be inspected, and outputting a detection result; and a case which supports the detecting unit, and is attached to a peripheral area of the region to be inspected.

A display apparatus comprising:
- a display panel which has a display surface;
- an apparatus base to which the display panel is attached;
- a detecting unit which has a detecting surface disposed so as to face a region to be inspected being a part of the display surface, the detecting unit detecting by means of the detecting surface, light emitted from the region to be inspected, and outputting a detection result;
- and
- a case which supports the detecting unit, and is attached to a peripheral area of the region to be inspected.
